Bukit Rambai Cendol Made from the Cendol leaves itself!
Cendol and Tai Bak lovers! If you want to taste the original cendol, head down to Bukit Rambai Cendol. This Peranakan auntie known as Auntie Koh serves the best original cendol in Melaka! Cendol is definitely an excellent choice to quench your thirst! This dessert is particularly synonym with Melaka city. Thanks to its important ingredient; the thick brown syrup called Gula Melaka (One type of palm sugar). My daughter enjoying her Tai Bak!
The main ingredients; the cendol is made from the cendol leaves itself with no artificial colouring! The colour of the cendol looks like dark turquoise green. It is served cold (shaved ice) in a small bowl with gula Melaka, coconut milk (santan) & boiled red beans. Aside from cendol, auntie Koh also serves Tai Bak. Tai Bak is one of the Peranakans’ desserts. If you could not made up your mind on which dessert to order, my suggestion is simple: Order both desserts then! Please take note that Bukit Rambai Cendol only opens during weekends. Starting from 12.30p.m to (until the cendol/Tai Bak is sold out!) This Peranakan auntie serving policy is simple: First come first serve; late comers might not be served! Conclusion, go early to avoid disappointment! Enjoy yourself!
