Chinese Calligraphy

Capture its beauty of dynamism & rhythm

Chinese calligraphy is an art that is used widely in Chinese culture and customs. It is not merely about "beautiful writing", it is full of "personal expression".

Although it uses Chinese characters to "express" the artist's spiritual world, this form of calligraphy art is best admired as a painting. You do not have to know the Chinese characters in order to enjoy the beautiful art. Hey, sometimes, you will not even know that there is actually a Chinese character in the beautiful painting!


Examples of Chinese Calligraphy's application

There are a few styles in writing this beautiful Calligraphy . However, the spontaneity style is the most preferred style by most of the artist.

Just imagine this, the brush; will act like a seismograph. It records the movements of arm, wrist, and hand of the calligrapher and transfers it to the paper. Olla! A beautiful and individually unique art is created!

Besides being a practical technique for writing Chinese Characters, this art is rich in content and serves as important part of Chinese culture. It is being used widely in the Chinese community in different medium and method.The medium used ranges from wood craving to stone carving.
