Now let’s look for the state of Melaka. Firstly, it is located on the western coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Secondly, it is facing the Straits Of Melaka.
If you still can’t find it, open you eyes bigger as it is the third smallest state in Malaysia . Yes, you could found it sandwiched between Negeri Sembilan and Johor. By now, you would have probably figured out that Melaka is one of the states in Malaysia. It is located around 148 km from Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia and 245km from Singapore. The state of Melaka covers an area of 1,650-sq.km and divided into three districts, known as Melaka Tengah (Central Melaka), Alor Gajah and Jasin.
Melaka is dubbed as The Historical State or the Hang Tuah State. Personally, I prefer to call it “the exotic historical city“. Aside from the ruins and monuments, it’s simply the melting pot of colorful traditions cultures of the Malay, Chinese, Indian, Portuguese, Nyonya & Chitty community.
