Melaka Zoo is located in Ayeh Keroh, Malacca and is the second largest zoo in Malaysia. It was established in 1963 by the Malacca State Government. Currently, this Zoo is under the management of PERHILITAN. (1979 and onwards)

This Zoo is more than just a recreation place; it also plays an important role in wildlife conservation in Malaysia.

Wow! It seems that there is something for everyone.

There are Elephant Ride and Horse Ride for the children and adults to experience. I bet your child would find it very thrilling and fun. My daughter, Iloura enjoyed her tram ride so much.

My family and I had a good time watching the animal shows. Simply be amazed with the act of a very talented elephant. This amazing elephant can paints; plays football and even performs amazing magical tricks.

You and your family should try the Night Zoo. It is very highly recommended as most of the animals (nocturnal animals) are active during the night.

My daughter is thrilled watching the leopards and tigers. It is very different from the day visit whereby the tigers and leopards sleep soundly under the shade of the trees.

Instead of walking along the lighted night trail, you could explore the Melaka Night Zoo on tram rides. Along the trail, a tour guide will explain about the animals while pointing to the location of the animals.

At the designated spots, we are dropped off to have a closer view of the animals like Tigers, Leopards, Lions and crocodiles.

I believe you will enjoy these night adventure as much as my family. This is a unique opportunity to discover and observe the behaviour of the nocturnal animals or night life animals in their naturalstic habitat.
