Along Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, also known as Heeren Street, you will find unique accommodations of ole’ Melaka. Below are my short reviews of the short trip accommodations along Heeren Street which are worth recommending.

This is one of my personal favourite among the short trip accommodations list in Melaka. Hotel Puri Melaka is one of the ole's Melaka boutique hotel in the heart of the old city of Melaka.
This hotel is a carefully restored Peranakan house. Like most of the Peranakan house, Hotel Puri has a lovely courtyard garden in the centre of the hotel. Extending 100 metres long, its distinct characteristics are its beautiful and intricately decorated façade and the impressive length of the house.
While retaining its old charm, Hotel Puri Melaka provides modern amenities to its hotel guests. Tired and need a good massage? You could always head to Hotel Puri spa for a good massage.
It takes only 30 minute drive from the North-South Highway (Malacca/Ayer Keroh exit), and 10 minute drive from the Melaka Sentral bus station. If you would like to have a feel of the Peranakan house, book yourself a room in Hotel Puri Melaka here.

The Baba House is another ole's Melaka boutique hotel (Peranakan heritage building) located along Heeren Street, Melaka that you might want to try during your short trip to Melaka.
Here you could admire the lovely architecture and furniture of the Melaka Baba House. There is great attention to detail shown everywhere. Nothing to do? Enjoy the charming spaces available for the guest to sit and admire the surroundings or you could head to the garden terrace for a drink.
You could also rejuvenate at the spa with a soothing massage. Alternatively, keep in touch with friends and family using the the free in-room Wi-Fi internet access. To be more active, pay a visit to the Baba Heritage Museum, just down the street. Book yourself a room in The Baba House here.

Heeren House is situated by the side of the winding Melaka River. It offers a unique choice of bedroom. The rooms are individually furnished with colonial and Peranakan furniture, with views overlooking the charming old Melaka River and other historical sites beyond.
Clearly within view are the Stadhuys and St Paul's Hill, while others historical attractions places are only a few minutes walk away.
Heeren Inn is another budget hotel managed by a family. It is smack along Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock and located directly facing towards the road/lane to Jonker Street. The bedrooms are all equipped with air-conditioning unit and attached bathroom.
This is another good choice of hotel for your short stay in Melaka as it is located within walking distance to Melaka Historical sites. During weekends, the surrounding area of this place (Jonker Street) will be very lively and crowded with people. Therefore, it all depends to your personal preference.
Lastly, a gentle reminder that Heeren Inn does not accept credit card and you need to pay by cash!
