The Jetty Malacca is actually an unrealistic jetty project in Malacca, Malaysia due to the shallow sea level in the area which is not suitable for ships to habour.
It used to be a fishing spot for Malaccan before converted and turned into one of Malacca's hot spot night life entertainment, namely The Jetty.
The romantic Night View
Now everything has changed as tourists can enter and even tour one of these ancestral homes which has been converted into a living museum the Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum.
Smacked in between Holiday Inn Hotel and Mahkota Hotel, The Jetty, around 400 meters long has become a convenient hangout place for the tourists who stay at the hotels.
You could party all night long in Arena Night Club, sing and eat at GO GO Karaoke, dine in the Chinese Cuisine or steamboat restaurant and later probably a game of pool.
The Jetty provides a variety of night life entertainments conveniently accessible for family, friends and colleagues under one roof.
Next time you are here in (Melaka) Malacca, Malaysia; come to The Jetty for a visit or a stroll while enjoying a cool night breeze of Malacca and enjoying the night view.
One last thing, if you feel tired after walking, then you could get a free buggy ride from one end to another.
However, my advice is don't be lazy; WALK!
