As a tourist, you would like to see and experience most of Malaysia within your vacation timeframe. Since Melaka look relatively small in the Malaysian map. Most tourists (first timer) will assume that a short day trip will be sufficient to explore the whole city. Thus, they will go for a short one day trip to Melaka via a booked tour from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.
However, as soon as they step down from the air-conditioned tour bus, there are plenty delightful surprises that await them in this small Historical Town!
“There’s simply too much to see and explore and not enough of time!“ most of them realized once they step down from the one day trip bus via Kuala Lumpur or Singapore. They are simply in the rush to visit the main tourist attraction places, do some ASAP shopping, photographs snapping and off they go back to either Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.
There’s simply not enough of time to marvel the rows of shop houses in Melaka City, venturing in the small lane that might present you with delightful findings and surprises and most important of all to taste the delicious food of Melaka!
This small city has much to offer. There are plenty of things that you could do in Melaka. My travel advice? All you need to do is to pick or arrange a Melaka tour that’s suitable to your preference and taste.
Here’s what you can do:
1. Book your tour from a travel agency, if you are lazy to do your own research and planning.
2. Hire your own tour transport and be your own tour guide. Alternatively, you can hire your own tour guide or agent.However, this travel advice requires a lot of research and time consuming.
3. Don’t plans anything; just make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy “little surprises“ as you venture around Melaka.
